Philadelphia has passed a new law prohibiting employers from even asking about a job candidate’s wage history. The city’s Chamber of Commerce fought back this week with a suit to block the law as an unconstitutional restriction on employers’ free-speech rights.

 

Tomi Lahren, the young, incendiary conservative commentator, is suing her former boss, Glenn Beck, and his media firm, The Blaze, for wrongful termination over her pro-choice comments.

 

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson says the U.S. position on Syria hasn’t changed after American warships launched a military strike on an air base in Syria Thursday in response to a deadly chemical weapons attack that killed at least 70 civilians earlier in the week.

 

Uber has banned for life a Bronx woman who threatened to falsely accuse her Uber driver of rape. In video footage released online, the woman became irate after her Uber driver didn’t have a phone charger for her iPhone.

 

La Var Ball said the white starters on UCLA’s basketball team were “too slow” to win a national title. His son, Lonzo Ball, is headed to the NBA draft after completing his freshman season with a loss in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Basketball Tournament last month.
