Hunter Biden’s Business Dealings and Media Treatment Under Scrutiny

Dan Proft spoke with Garrett Ziegler, founder of the nonprofit research group Marco Polo, about the latest revelations from Hunter Biden’s public appearances and the extensive investigative work Ziegler’s team has compiled on the president’s son. The conversation ranged from Hunter’s recent unfiltered podcast interviews to alleged overseas business schemes involving Romania and Mexico.

Proft began by revisiting Hunter Biden’s now-notorious musings on drug use, immigration, and art sales, highlighting his public defense of crack cocaine and his high-priced paintings that have drawn scrutiny from ethics watchdogs. Ziegler, who served as an expert witness in a past Hunter Biden child support case, compared Biden’s perceived entitlement to that of 17th-century royalty, calling his public persona “a manchild” defined by victimhood and delusion.

The discussion turned to the findings of Marco Polo’s 600-page report, which documents what Ziegler claims are hundreds of prosecutable offenses by Hunter Biden. While Ukraine’s Burisma dealings have been widely covered, Ziegler emphasized two less-publicized areas: alleged shakedowns in Romania and Mexico. He described a Romanian real estate tycoon and two Mexican oligarchs—one being billionaire Carlos Slim—as central figures in influence-peddling operations during Joe Biden’s vice presidency. Ziegler said his team has evidence Joe Biden acted as an unregistered foreign agent in some of these dealings, including proposed ventures linking Mexico’s state oil company PEMEX with Burisma.

Proft and Ziegler also touched on why certain entertainment outlets have avoided satirizing the Bidens. Ziegler pointed to Hunter’s attorney, Kevin Morris, who he says has deep Hollywood ties, including a decades-long relationship with the creators of South Park. According to Ziegler, Morris’ influence and financial support for Hunter have contributed to a lack of comedic targeting from established shows such as Saturday Night Live.

Ziegler concluded by urging further state-level investigations into Biden family associates like Rob Walker, arguing that financial transactions tied to Arkansas banking institutions give local prosecutors jurisdiction. He claimed Republican attorneys general have so far been unwilling to pursue the matter, calling it “kryptonite” to political leaders despite what he views as clear evidence of wrongdoing.
