Former Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell had a response to hearing that someone had vandalized a memorial honoring his best friend and fellow Seal Michael Murphy, who died on a mountain in Afghanistan fighting alongside Luttrell. Luttrell learned a 14-year-old Long Island boy was responsible for the vandalism: “Don’t put him in jail, you send him out here to me.”
A 47-year-old man who shot and killed someone over a parking space dispute will not face criminal charges. The Thursday afternoon incident falls under Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” law. A “pretty significant yelling match” broke out when the victim arrived at a convenience store and saw that the man’s girlfriend, had illegally parked her car in a handicap spot.
