According to a profile of second lady Karen Pence in The Washington Post last week, the Pences are extremely close, with a great love story. The story generated some controversy because of the revelation that Pence does not have dinner alone with women other than his wife. Columnist Matt Walsh, the author of “The Unholy Trinity: Blocking the Left’s Assault on Life, Marriage and Gender” told Dan and Amy the outrage of Pence’s marriage boundaries shows just how little people know about successful marriages:

The top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee said he disagrees with panel chairman Devin Nunes’ characterization of intelligence documents he saw at the White House as pointing to potential “incidental surveillance” of President Trump and his team during the transition. Donald Trump will host Egyptian president Abdel Fattah el-Sisi at the White House today for their first face-to-face meeting since Mr Trump took office. Dr. Zuhdi Jasser joined Dan and Amy to talk about what President Trump should look to accomplish with the meeting:

When asked whether President Donald Trump would still cut off law enforcement funds to the city of Chicago because it’s a sanctuary city even though it could hamper police from fighting violent crime, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said sanctuary cities can’t have it both ways – refusing to cooperate with federal immigration officials and still expecting to get law enforcement grants to handle a situation they created.

 

Newly elected chairman of the Democratic National Committee Tom Perez became unhinged during an event in New Jersey on Friday, where he claimed that President Donald Trump “didn’t win” last year’s presidential election.

 

President Trump said in an interview published Sunday he will make a deal with Democrats on legislation to repeal and replace Obamacare if he can’t strike one with House Freedom Caucus Republicans.

 

Meanwhile, Republican Sen. Rand Paul was optimistic about repealing Obamacare after he spent the day playing golf with President Trump.
