Google has cancelled an all-staff meeting to discuss a controversial memo about diversity written by former engineer James Damore. The ongoing lack of diversity in the entire tech sector is an issue that has grown an even bigger head of steam in recent months, with a steady stream of stories about big firms and big names being held to account. Michael Barone the Senior Political Analyst for the Washington Examiner joined Dan and Amy with reaction to the story:

On Twitter Friday morning, President Trump said that he had a range of military solutions to use against North Korea, should he need them. Michael Rubin, Resident Scholar for the American Enterprise Institute and author of “Dancing with the Devil” joined Dan and Amy with reaction to the situation on the Korean peninsula:

CNN host Poppy Harlow left a former Hillary Clinton aide stuttering after she dismantled her hypocrisy on President Trump’s statements about North Korea. Adrianne Elrod, the former director of strategic communications for the Clinton campaign, tried to argue that Trump’s “fire and fury” comments prove he is “temperamentally unfit” to be president.

 

Halle Berry complained to People Magazine about her high school, where Berry claims there were only “like 3 out of 2500 students.” Members of her high school took to Facebook to set the record straight.

 

Google could be facing a new lawsuit. Dozens of women have come forward accusing the tech-giant of gender discrimination.
