According to a new Harvard study, Trump’s coverage during his first 100 days set a new standard for negativity. Negative reports outpaced positive ones by 80 percent to 20 percent. Media coverage of President Barack Obama’s first 100 days was positive 59% of the time, three times more often than Trump’s 20% positive coverage.
The Chicago Teachers’ Pension Fund paid out $1.5 billion last fiscal year, mostly on benefits to retirees. But it only earned $7.8 million on its investments, according to a filing it made with the Illinois Department of Insurance.
