On Friday, President Trump announced that he was pardoning former Sheriff Joe Arpaio on his contempt of court charge. Arpaio joined Dan and Amy with reaction to President Trump’s pardon:

Dinesh D’Souza will be headlining Freedom Summit 2017 this fall. He joined Dan and Amy to talk about his new book “The Big Lie: Exposing the Nazi Roots of the American Left.”

The head of the Federal Emergency Management Agency said his agency is already gearing up for a years-long effort to help Texas recover from the damage wrought by Hurricane Harvey.

 

Following a plea heard all across social media, dozens of residents of a Dickinson nursing home have been safely evacuated in the midst of the epic flooding gripping the greater Houston area.

 

Angry parents gathered last week night to protest a California teacher that read transgender books to her kindergarteners and encouraged a clothes-changing demonstration, saying it was inappropriate to vividly portray transgenderism to such young children.

 

Meanwhile,  Gov. Bruce Rauner on Friday signed into law measures to ban the so-called gay panic defense in criminal proceedings and make it easier for transgender people to change the sex listed on their birth certificates.

 

A flyer recently appeared at the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs declaring that “in order to protect our academic institutions we must ban veterans from four-year universities.”
