At the same time President Trump is Tweeting insults at Jeff Sessions and new military policies, the Senate seems to be stalled on health care reform and tax reform is back on the horizon. National Review editor Rich Lowry joined Dan and Amy with reaction to a busy week in Washington:

President Donald Trump’s top aides have been trying to calm Trump down about Jeff Sessions, the attorney general Trump has been needling for nearly a week. Mike Rogers is a former U.S. Army officer, FBI special agent and Congressman from the 8th district in Michigan and now the host of Declassified on CNN. He joined Dan and Amy with reaction to the public spat between President Trump and Sessions:

Former Deputy Undersecretary of Defense Jed Babbin joined Dan and Amy with reaction to the arrest of the IT worker for Debbie Wasserman Schultz & President Trump’s decision to ban transgender people from serving in the U.S. military:

White House adviser Steve Bannon is pushing for tax reform to include a new 44 percent top marginal tax rate, hitting people who earn more than $5 million a year, with the revenue paying for tax cuts for the rest.

 

A transgender former Navy SEAL has spoken out against President Trump’s ban on transgender military members, saying he is preventing soldiers from doing their service.

 

The Senate voted Wednesday afternoon against a proposal that would repeal major portions of Obamacare without a replacement legislation.
