Republican lawmakers and administration aides found themselves again Wednesday weighing the costs and benefits of remaining loyal to President Donald Trump, in reaction to his comments about the violence in Charlottesville. Both former Presidents Bush weighed in, condemning the Neo-Nazi’s and racists, as did former Presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Diamond and Silk joined Dan and Amy with reaction to the violence in Charlottesville, and the fallout from President Trump’s comments:

Fox News host and Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson unloaded on Weekly Standard editor-at-large Bill Kristol on Wednesday after Kristol falsely accused Carlson of “rationalizing slavery.”

 

A group of antifascist protesters armed with purple shields and bats showed up to the Wednesday funeral of a woman mowed down by a white supremacist who struck her with a vehicle.

White House chief strategist Steve Bannon hopes Democrats continuously talk about racism as he thinks it will lead to their defeat at the polls. The comments from Bannon came during to an interview published Wednesday by The American Prospect.

 

A Chicago pastor has asked the Emanuel administration to remove the names of two presidents who owned slaves from parks on the South Side, saying the city should not honor slave owners in black communities.
