The FBI released emails Monday confirming that former FBI Director James Comey drafted statements regarding the Hillary Clinton email investigation months before the probe was closed.

 

During Monday’s impromptu Rose Garden press conference with Mitch McConnell, President Donald Trump was asked why he hadn’t spoken more about the four U.S. soldiers killed during an ambush in Niger.  Trump defended his actions, saying he’d written the families personal letters. And then he proceeded to make claim former President Barack Obama did not call families of fallen soldiers.
