Jared Kushner, President Trump’s senior adviser and son-in-law, spent two hours Monday answering questions from Senate investigators about his contacts with Russian officials, as the various probes into Russian interference during the 2016 campaign entered a new phase involving some of those closest to Trump. Lt. Col. Ralph Peters, a retired US Army Officer, author and Strategic Analyst for Fox News Channel. He joined Dan and Amy to talk about the Russia investigation:

Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has the Senate set to vote Tuesday on the first major test for the GOP effort to repeal and replace Obamacare. It’s a vote on the motion to proceed to debate and amendments on the House-passed health care bill. McConnell needs 50 out of the 52 Senate Republicans to support him. Even Arizona Senator John McCain is back to vote just days after surgery and a brain cancer diagnosis. Ed Henry the Chief National Correspondent for Fox News Channel, and author of the book “42 Faith” joined Dan and Amy to explain the latest Senate maneuvering:

Lynn Dunagan the founder of JMD Defense and Investigations wanted to demystify guns and help her neighbors on the south side learn how to defend themselves, so she founded the “Ladies of Steel” gun club. She joined Dan and Amy to share her story:

Lara Trump, President Trump’s daughter in law, praised her brothers-in-law’s handling of the Russian investigation Monday, applauding their transparency and drawing stark contrasts between them and Hillary Clinton.

 

FBI agents seized smashed computer hard drives from the home of Florida Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s information technology administrator, according to two sources with knowledge of the investigation.

 

The parents of the little boy Charlie Gard, who had been fighting a hospital to save his life say they are ending their legal battle to get him an experimental treatment. A lawyer representing the couple told Justice Francis that “time had run out.” The attorney for the family said that irreparable damage had already been done.

 

An illegal immigrant has been arrested in Geneseo, New York for allegedly raping a 12-year-old girl, according to local news reports. Fernando Alvarado-Perez, a 37-year-old male, allegedly had sex with the girl multiple times while she was between 12- and 13-years-old
