Former US Navy SEAL Robert O’Neill, the soldier who show Osama bin Laden talked with Dan and Amy about his career and his decision to release his story as the book “The Operator: Firing the Shots that Killed Osama bin Laden and My Years as a SEAL Team Warrior”:

President Trump on Wednesday plans to call for a significant increase in the standard deduction people can claim on their tax returns, potentially putting thousands of dollars each year into the pockets of tens of millions of Americans. CNN Senior Economist Stephen Moore joined Dan and Amy to talk taxes and the chances of a revival of health insurance reform:

Protesters demanding a “budget for the people” stormed the offices of the conservative Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday. Melissa Quinn with the Daily Signal found herself caught in the middle of it and joined Dan and Amy to share her experience:

President Donald Trump shot back at reports that he plans on backing down on his controversial border wall in order to push through a spending bill this Friday needed to avoid a government shutdown.

 

The White House on Tuesday rebuked a federal judge’s decision to block a Trump administration directive aimed at stripping funding from “sanctuary cities,” calling the court decision yet another case of “egregious overreach by a single, unelected district judge.”

 

Ivanka Trump is in Europe and spoke at an event in Germany. The crowd booed her when she said that her father supports women and families.

 

Throngs of women descended on Springfield to protest in favor of funding for Planned Parenthood. And by “throngs,” we mean almost no one actually showed up.

 

United Airlines is in the headlines again, this time because a giant bunny died in their care. The rabbit died in unexplained circumstances on a United Airlines flight from Britain to Chicago in the latest unfortunate incident to hit the beleaguered airline.
