A couple of videos released by HLN and Chicago’s WGN-TV have shed more light on the allegations against actor Morgan Freeman.

 

Boxing champ Jack Johnson was posthumously pardoned by President Trump. Johnson’s story was brought to Trump’s attention by actor Sylvester Stallone, who stood with former champ Lennox Lewis by the president’s side as he issued the posthumous pardon.

 

Harvey Weinstein turned himself in to New York police Friday morning and was arrested on charges that he raped one woman. Manhattan prosecutors will charge Weinstein with first- and third-degree rape in one case and a first-degree sex act in a second case. He’s expected to appear in court later in the day.

 

Voting has begun in the Irish abortion referendum, which seeks to remove the constitutional ban on abortion. The 8th amendment to the Irish constitution gives an equal right to life to the mother and the fetus.

 

An armed citizen gunned down a shooter at an Oklahoma City restaurant on Thursday, killing him. As the gunman was fleeing the scene, a bystander armed with a pistol confronted the shooter and fatally shot him outside the restaurant.

 

Former Spokane Chapter NAACP President Rachel Dolezal is now facing legal trouble that could land her behind bars. She is accused of 1st Degree Theft by Welfare Fraud, Perjury in the 2nd Degree, and False Verification for Public Assistance. The sentence could include up to 15 years in prison.
