Ron Hosko is a former FBI Assistant Director and President of the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund. He joined Dan and Amy with reaction to the firing of Attorney General Jeff Sessions, and the mass shooting in California overnight:

A shooter opened fire late Wednesday during “college night” at a crowded country dance bar in Southern California, killing 11 people and a sheriff’s sergeant. The shooter, apparently firing at random, also died in the rampage.

 

President Donald Trump on Wednesday fired Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Matthew Whitaker will take over as acting attorney general.

 

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders announced Wednesday that Acosta’s permanent press credentials had been revoked over an incident at a press conference. CNN’s communication team described the reasons Sanders provided for the decision as being based on “fraudulent accusations,” and citing “an incident that never happened.”

 

Mark Penn for Fox News: Trump needs to be a UNIFIER now to succeed, move on to successful re-election.

 

A left-wing protest group showed up outside Fox News host Tucker Carlson’s house Wednesday evening, posted pictures of his address online and demanded that he flee the city of Washington, D.C.
