North Korea released three American prisoners Wednesday, and they are extremely grateful for their freedom. Kim Dong-Chul, Kim Hak-Song and Kim Sang-Duk were released into Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s custody Wednesday during a visit to North Korea.
In her confirmation hearing on Wednesday in the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, Sen. Jack Reed asked Gina Haspel, President Donald Trump’s nominee to be director of the Central Intelligence Agency, whether she had ever been alone in a room with Trump or if the President had ever asked for personal loyalty.
Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton took Democratic lawmakers to task Wednesday for opposing Gina Haspel’s nomination to be the next CIA director.
