The Saudis are preparing a report that will acknowledge that Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi’s death was the result of an interrogation that went wrong, one that was intended to lead to his abduction from Turkey, according to two sources. One source says the report will likely conclude that the operation was carried out without clearance and transparency and that those involved will be held responsible.

 

Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s release Monday of a DNA analysis that she does indeed have Native American ancestry was meant as a pushback to Donald Trump’s derisive nickname for her. But her Native American ancestry ended up being so small that Warren was the object of ridicule from both sides, and even received a rebuke from the Cherokee nation.

 

The Kermit Gosnell movie managed to break into the top 10 on its opening weekend at the box office according to Box Office Mojo.

 

A second new abortion clinic opened in Illinois this year – while they’re closing in surrounding states – and drew the attention of the Illinois Right to Life. As reported last week in Illinois Review, Carafem Clinics advertise performing abortions, saying “There’s no shame in it.”
