Chicago Police Officer Jason Van Dyke took the stand Tuesday afternoon in his own defense.
Van Dyke, who is charged with first-degree murder for shooting Laquan McDonald 16 times in 2014, testified for about 90 minutes.

 

The ex-boyfriend of Julie Swetnick, the third woman to make uncorroborated, lurid allegations of sexual misconduct against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, told Fox News on Monday that she had threatened to kill his unborn child and at times even bizarrely asked him to hit her.
