President Trump officially directed the Pentagon to establish a sixth branch of the U.S. military in space on Monday. Speaking at a National Space Council meeting at the White House, Mr. Trump called for a “space force” to ensure American dominance in the final frontier.
He said when it comes to defending America, “it is not enough to merely have an American presence in space. We must have American dominance in space.”
