Three Republican senators announced their opposition to the current draft of the Senate health care bill Tuesday afternoon, shortly after Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell decided to delay a vote on the plan until after the July 4 recess. CNN Senior Economist Stephen Moore joined Dan and Amy with reaction to the decision to punt the health care vote:

Peter Ferrara is a former adviser to President Reagan and current senior fellow for entitlement and budget policy at The Heartland Institute. He joined Dan and Amy to share his thoughts on the bill and what’s next in the process since the vote has been delayed:

Video of a CNN producer describing the network’s coverage of the alleged Russia scandal as “bullsh*t” peddled for ratings is genuine. The sting video published Tuesday shows CNN producer John Bonifield admitting the network has no evidence of claims that President Donald Trump or his campaign colluded with Russia to subvert the 2016 presidential election.

Three current or former Chicago Police officers are facing criminal charges in an alleged cover-up to protect Officer Jason Van Dyke, who fatally shot 17-year-old Laquan McDonald. Van Dyke was charged with first-degree murder in November 2015 on the day before that video was publicly released. Meanwhile, Chicago Magazine published a collection of comments from officers about what it’s like for them on the street.

Secretary of Energy Rick Perry addressed reporters for Tuesday’s White House press briefing, delivering a whimsical and lighthearted performance running more than thirty minutes. White House reporters, who have become accustomed to an adversarial relationship in briefings between an irate and evasive Sean Spicer and Sarah Huckabee Sanders, were treated to the former Governor’s jovial briefing, in which he joked with reporters and doled out compliments.
