The Illinois Senate may have voted to override Gov. Bruce Rauner’s amendatory veto of a bill that rewrites the school funding formula, but that doesn’t mean a resolution of the issue is imminent. The Illinois State Board of Education, or ISBE, on Aug. 12 released the results of Gov. Bruce Rauner’s amendatory veto of Senate Bill 1, a school funding plan. The results are favorable to an overwhelming number of school districts across the state.
