Matt McDonald Reports From on the Ground in New Hampshire

Democratic presidential hopefuls hit the streets of New Hampshire on Tuesday in their last chance to persuade the state’s voters that they were the party’s best bet to take on President Donald Trump in November.

Recent state polls showed U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders, a progressive from neighboring Vermont, leading the crowded field, followed by two moderates: former South Bend, Indiana mayor Pete Buttigieg and U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar.
