At the end of Tuesday night’s broadcast of The Kelly File, Megyn Kelly addressed the news of her leaving Fox News for NBC News.

Kelly said she needed to spend more time with her children, which prompted the move. She went on to discuss her role at NBC News, something she had previously noted on Facebook.

Kelly began tearing up when she brought up her 12 years with Fox News, saying the network gave her “every chance a young reporter” can hope for.
