Outrage has continued to grow following the treatment of Dr. David Dao, a doctor from Kentucky, on Sunday aboard the Louisville-bound plane. This despite the fact that media outlets were beginning to report the doctor has a less than stellar past. Elected officials in the Chicago area are now beginning to call for an investigation into United.

 

White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer generate some controversy on Tuesday because of comments during the daily press briefing — in which he tried to condemn Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad by saying, “You had someone as despicable as Hitler, who didn’t even sink to using chemical weapons.

 

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov began a meeting with his US counterpart Rex Tillerson in Moscow with a warning — do not strike the Syrian regime again. The two top diplomats are sitting down together in Moscow on Wednesday for what are expected to be painstaking talks, after a chemical attack in northwestern Syria plunged the old Cold War enemies to a new low.
